Smile Through Sport, founded by Paralympian Stephen Miller MBE, aims to create more awareness and opportunities in disability sport across the North East. They needed a website that reflected their brand colours and was accessible to all users.
Role & Goals
My role was to redesign their WordPress site so it was easy to use, inclusive and supported online bookings. The goal was to allow participants to book events and sessions with minimum fuss.
Process & Solution
- Updated the design using Smile Through Sport’s brand colours to create a friendly, welcoming feel.
- Simplified navigation and improved the layout to enhance accessibility for users with disabilities.
- Integrated an online booking system for events, sessions and courses.
Outcome & Benefits
The new site makes it easy for people to discover and participate in disability sport across the region. Feedback has been very positive and bookings have increased.
