Project Brief
The Red Lion Inn is an 18th‑century coaching inn in a coastal Northumberland village offering comfortable accommodation and fine local beer. They needed a website that captures the inn’s character and encourages bookings.

Role & Goals
I was tasked with designing a visually stunning site that reflects the warmth and tradition of the pub while being easy to navigate for potential guests.

Process & Solution

  • Built a WordPress site using atmospheric photography and warm colours to convey the inn’s charm.
  • Added sections for accommodation, dining, local attractions and contact details.
  • Included testimonials and star ratings to build trust.

Outcome & Benefits
The website captures the Red Lion’s essence and has led to increased enquiries and bookings. Guests can now explore the inn online and plan their stay easily.
