Overview
Kevin Field is a conductor with an international career. His website needed to showcase his biography, repertoire and upcoming projects in a polished, accessible format.
Challenge
The challenge was to present a wealth of information – career highlights, recordings, concerts, videos – in a way that felt cohesive and engaging rather than overwhelming.
Solution
I created a sophisticated site with sections for biography, projects, repertoire and galleries. The biography notes that Kevin has directed prestigious ensembles such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Australia Chamber Orchestra, Malaysian Philharmonic and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. The projects page lists future works: Portraits in Absentia (Jocelyn Pook) due in 2026, a reimagining of a 2002 commission; The Daughters – Opera in 4 Scenes for 2025; West Side Story in 2024 (a biennial collaboration with Malaysian orchestra); and KL City Opera 2023. Each project summary explains the context and collaborators.
Key Features
- Detailed biography highlighting international conducting engagements.
- Projects timeline with upcoming productions described by year.
- Media integration including gallery photos and links to video performances.
- Elegant design that conveys a sense of artistry and professionalism.
Outcome
The result is a compelling online portfolio that demonstrates Kevin’s versatility and achievements. Music lovers and promoters can easily learn about his background, see future projects and get in touch.
